These must have been the property of Esther Lindsey. None of the letters are to or from Esther. Many relate to her brother Robert Lindsey, who was at the Quaker School, at Ackworth, Yorkshire; later he was in America. There are letters to and from Robert and the rest of the family and they are written from America, Australia, Yorkshire and elsewhere in England
