Thick and square but clean late Caroline minuscule,

Physical characteristics and technical requirements

Single parchment leaf, somewhat darkened with small written-around hole, written in double columns with traces of dry point ruling. Parchment dimensions 380 mm x 281 mm, total written space 300 x 190 mm, space between columns 15 mm, text columns 89 mm, 43 lines per column. Inscription in 16th-century hand in outer margin of verso reading "deliv[er]ed to my syster doley by my lord norrys bond of xlli of hounds bill of xlli." Written in black ink, without decoration; some lines lightly underlined. Recto slightly rubbed with light staining.
