Transcript (17th century) of various documents relating to lands at Snaith, including an inspeximus (dated 14 January, 11 Henry IV [1409/10]) of a writ dated 12 May, 41 Henry III [1257] to hold an inquest, and of the record of the inquest, held at Rawcliffe, the Friday before Trinity Sunday, 41 Henry III [1 June, 1257]; and documents of 12 May, 28 Edward I [1300] and 29 January, 31 Edward I [1302/3] relating to a dispute between William son of Thomas de Houk and Henry de Lacy, earl of Lincoln; and a document of 15 May, 37 Edward III [1363] concerning a dispute between queen Philippa and John, duke of Lancaster, and his wife, Blanche. 19th century marginal notes, often erroneous on dates.
